About This Role

The ideal person for this role is both a right and left brain individual, who is as comfortable ideating with highly creative stakeholders as you are in identifying detailed technical features and designs. You should be outcome oriented, able to use data to support product decisions and to communicate complex problems concisely and clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your deep empathy for our athletes and ability to clarify ambiguity while driving to product goals will be critical to the business. Teamwork, influence and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

We are looking for Senior Product Managers across several disciplines, such as: Growth, Subscription, Athlete Experience, and Integrity. If you feel you meet the majority of the qualifications, we encourage you to apply and would love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position and is open to Remote (USA) based candidates or San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO offices.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Lead your product space. Define and prioritize projects, assess their potential impact, plan them effectively, and manage their delivery.

  • Identify growth opportunities. You will explore experiments and optimizations that might include mechanisms for referral, onboarding, activation, acquisition, retention and expansion for real business impact.

  • High-quality research. Define and execute high-quality qualitative and quantitative research best practices to evolve and inform the direction of product development.

  • Ship often. Ship minimum-loveable products that allow us to test our hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience.

  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams. Partner with engineering, design, data analysts, research and other product managers to drive growth & build exceptional new features.

  • Gain deeper insights about our athletes. Use product analytics to understand how our customers use our product and help guide decisions on future improvements and optimizations.

You will be successful here by:

  • Advocate, drive and manage the plan for how to advance the athlete experience on Strava.

  • Embracing an inclusive, collaborative environment that elevates a diverse set of voices and experiences.

  • Coordinate significant cross-team efforts with Executive Stakeholders, Product Managers, UX/Design, Analytics, Research, and Engineering teams to execute requirements, generate insights, and build future strategies and product features.

  • Driving cross-functional team and alignment with hypothesis-driven experiments, vision, and roadmap.

  • Demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.

We’re excited about you because:

  • 6+ years experience creating customer-facing products as a product manager or industry relevant experience

  • You have experience in direct user testing, A/B and multivariate testing, and data analysis.

  • You have experience with scaling a product roadmap, feature planning, prioritization, and delivery.

  • You have experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategies related to a product.

  • You are a positive influencer.

  • You are eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and amongst the ever-changing nature of what our athletes want, on a global scale.

Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience working on a B2C subscription based product
