The Core Infrastructure team is building the next generation storage and database infrastructure platform to accelerate developer efficiency, improve performance, reliability and resource utilization.
In this role you are responsible for designing and setting the direction of our cache platform. This is a foundational building block for our ability to keep serving our truly global customer base with low latency and high availability, and supporting Spotify’s mission.
You will be working with a team of exceptionally talented Product and Insights influencers who are building and shaping the future of the Spotify infrastructure platform. The areas of influence of the product team ranges from developer experience focus to managing planet-scale storage and database solutions, and everything in between.
The Cloud Storage Product Area owns the storage & database platform for the entirety of Spotify’s backend, empowering thousands of developers to deploy many thousands of microservices every day, and scale to millions of users worldwide. As owners of this critical part of our infrastructure, this role effectively serves to help guide the direction of our underlying cloud strategy and storage investments.
Our Mission is to build a platform that is an amplifier for quality, innovation, and productivity across Spotify. Our team mantra is Speed at Scale, Safely. (S3)
