Senior Product Manager - job at Spotify

The Freemium R&D team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. Our team grows Spotify’s audience by finding future listeners around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right time. With research, product development, product design, engineering, and marketing all collaborating in one organization, we’re able to quickly create meaningful features and services for millions of people around the world, resulting in joyful, long-lasting relationships with Spotify.

We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and impact focused Senior Product Manager to join our team. You will lead a cross-functional growth team as they begin exploring a new opportunity space relating to Spotify's long-term vision as a platform and marketplace.

What you'll do

Shape, frame, and communicate your vision and strategy for Spotify’s presence on the web, and how fans could discover paid products.
Influence your team and cross functional partners towards alignment and execution.
Work with Design, Insights, Marketing, Engineering and other teams to implement that strategy and roadmap, collecting insights and proof points along the way.
Combine creativity with thoughtful experimentation and iteration to find the ideas that are most impactful to listeners and to Spotify.
Champion Spotify’s culture and values to make sure that your team is strong and healthy.

Who you are

You're an experienced product manager with a background in data driven product development and a track record of leading teams to impact.
You have experience working in the web space, preferably building new marketplaces or ecommerce growth funnels.
You have an innovative mentality, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity.
You can partner and influence effectively across all levels of an organization, and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you.
You have a history of finding innovative ways to validate big and novel ideas. You’re partial towards action and driving impact.
Your colleagues describe you as a storyteller that regularly galvanizes others into action.
You bring a passion for music and podcast culture, and for cultural equity and impact in general.

Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
