About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about solving complex problems by being relentlessly outcome-driven. You’ll be a key member of our operations platform and will be responsible for determining how we can best use our product to onboard new customers as well as retain them.
This is a high-impact product area, where you will partner with stakeholders across the business to optimise our onboarding journeys. You will work closely with a team of engineers and designers as well as cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Risk, Data Science, Implementations, and Operations teams.
You’ll be working with the other product managers in your organisation to develop a strategy and roadmap, upon which you will be responsible for delivering products and processes that will influence the future of fraud protection for both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and generate requirements for product development based on market analysis, end-user interviews, and feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and partners
- Maintain the product backlog, identifying dependencies, and defining scope
- Develop, own and execute the product roadmap whilst aligning with strategic objectives
- Represent the consumers of the platforms within the product team to prioritize features, negotiate scope, and define acceptance criteria
- Think strategically to define simple solutions, finding the right balance of quality and speed to market
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to deliver product features and incremental improvements
- Continuously innovate and optimise the product experience through testing and quick, small steps of iteration in order to maximise customer impact
- Measure the success and adoption of products and features
- Demonstrate product features to internal and external audiences
- Communicate problems and processes to key stakeholders, both technical and business, in an understandable way to facilitate the design and delivery of effective solutions
- Create content to support internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success)
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of product owner or product management experience building software
- Ability to provide execution details through product specs and user stories
- Experience in owning and prioritising the product backlog
- Highly Analytical. You use data to make decisions and track metrics, and are comfortable gathering it yourself via queries and business intelligence tools
- Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal, written, and visual) with a stand out talent for organising information to tell a clear story
- Outcome-driven. You don’t settle with outputs. You put desired outcomes at the centre of every conversation and don’t lose sight of them
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in using, building, and delivering products that are API centric
- Results-oriented. You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and when, and work with the teams to get solutions shipped
- Able to think from first principles, debate ideas and rapidly learn new concepts
- Prior experience building onboarding journeys and CX
- Proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
