Based in New York but fully distributed, Shortcut builds project management software for software and product teams that people actually want to use - just ask an engineer how they feel about Jira. Thousands of the fastest-growing software companies use Shortcut to plan and build software, including Glossier, Venmo, Dataiku, Scale AI, FullStory, LaunchDarkly, and others.
A dream job for any product manager - come help us build the future of how product managers and engineers ideate, plan, build, and ship software using Shortcut. As a bonus, you’ll be helping take down two of the worst software tools our peers have been forced to use over the years: Jira & Confluence.
The Product Management team at Shortcut is small, well established, and growing. PMs work as part of a team made up of design, engineering, and product to drive our product forward. Teams are responsible for specific missions and have complete autonomy and accountability over their areas. Product Managers work closely cross functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and product minded team to build project management tools people actually love to use. We aim to empower our teams to have responsibility over the applications they deliver, and you will provide the expertise, tooling, and structure to enable that.
Shortcut is an excellent place to share and grow your Product Management skills. The team offers strong mentorship in a collaborative and supportive environment. We also offer a generous educational stipend to help you continue to develop your skills.
Even if you don't meet all of the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply. Job requirements are a wishlist, not a checklist, and we're happy to help the right candidate grow into this role - if you're excited about Shortcut, we're excited about you!
