Senior Product Manager, Shopify Balance - Fraud (Remote, North America)

Shopify is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our anti-fraud efforts for the Balance team. Shopify Balance is the best way for Shopify’s Merchants to manage their money and business in one place. By enhancing our anti-fraud efforts, we’ll be able to lend more trust to our legitimate merchants and further enhance their experience with Shopify Balance.

What Will You Do? 

• Lead the product strategy, prioritization, and execution for anti-fraud for Shopify Balance.
• Motivate and influence leaders and key stakeholders to drive buy-in for your ideas.
• Drive clarity and collaboration with your squad of Engineers, UX designers, and Data Science specialists. 
• Define success metrics for anti-fraud, and drive alignment for all fraud efforts to those measures.
• Collaborate closely with adjacent product teams to find areas of overlap and cooperation in order to build a cohesive product UX for all of Balance, and a cohesive fraud strategy across all of Shopify’s financial products.

What do you bring? 

• At least three (3) years of experience as a Product Manager.
• Experience working on the problem of Fraud in Financial Services.
• Experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments at scale. 
• Ability to self-service with respect to data. Proficiency with SQL is a must. Ideally with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Proven ability to manage through ambiguity, competing priorities, and changing stakeholder needs.
• Experience creating and iterating product roadmaps.
• An entrepreneurial mindset - you must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thriving in ambiguity, and getting the work done.
