YOUR JOB
SCOPE & CHALLENGES
You’ll be joining the group Seller Operations & Insights Services,  which is in charge of developing expertise and solutions among 3 dimensions: Operational Services, Data Insights and Advertising solutions, for both sellers and brands partnering with Manomano. 
Our value proposition on Seller Operations & Insights Services is a key asset for our partners, and we will invest massively in creating and or integrating further solutions.
You’ll be in charge of building a seamless experience for our partners, in particular by helping them adopt our tools, manage their operations with Manomano and generate new revenue opportunities. 
The Product Manager will leverage technology, data capabilities and 3rd party partnerships to address the challenge and impact our North Star metrics:
-Seller Net Promoter Score
-Seller Effort Score
-Seller Unique Contact Rate

This team is playing a pivotal role in aspects of the Seller Experience, in particular managing some critical areas of the Seller Toolbox focused on supporting Sellers in maximizing their sales and driving new revenue streams for ManoMano.

The scope of this role is very complete and allows to develop an expertise track, with high visibility and complete autonomy on the scope. It requires a blend of technical & functional expertise, data fluency, user understanding, and business acumen.

As the Seller Train, we are focused on delivering the best experience to our partners leveraging the energy of 8 feature teams covering 2 strategic streams: Seller Catalog and Offers + Seller Operations and Insights Services. 
The Seller Experience being at the center of Manomano strategy, we’ve set our ambition for 2024 → For Home Improvement Sellers and Brands having a Great catalog fit with ManoMano quality standards, ManoMano marketplace is the Preferred Digital Partner that allows them to grow their digital business in a Trusted and Tailored Ecosystem, based on a unique Personalized and human-centered relationship. Our business attracts the largest and most qualified audience and we coach our partners with strategic insights and added value services to maximize their growth opportunities across our European Markets.




YOUR DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES ?

  • Product discovery: Master the problem space of your feature team through a deep knowledge of the buyer's pain points and needs through qualitative research (assisted by our user research department), quantitative data (NPS results, Customer Effort Score verbatims), or understanding regulatory frameworks (in partnership with our Legal, Compliance and Finance teams).

  • Product strategy:
  • - Build and nurture the product vision based on the data you gathered (from users, your team, data analysis, competitors, user research, regulatory frameworks…).
    - Turn that into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap: you will make sure that we're building the right features at the right time.
     - Make sure your team and stakeholders understand and embrace it through your engaging communication.
    - With the guidance of your manager, integrate your product strategy within the company strategy.

  • Product delivery:
  • - Ensure the correct delivery of your feature team; you collaborate with them daily to build a great product. Animate demos of your team to foster a continuous improvement culture.
    - Be obsessed by the impact of the features you ship through A/B testing, behavior data, etc. and generate insights about your product (with user researchers' help).
    - Communicate promptly with your Head of Product about important information, alerts, etc. Ask for help every time you need it and be a fast learner.

MUST HAVE ??

  • Hard skills: 
  • You have an engineering mindset and an Engineering or Business School degree.
    You thrive in a startup environment growing (fast).
    You have already worked on Big data projects, or projects involving data science.
    You master the AB test techniques.
    Perfect English.

  • Soft skills: 
  • Analysis, synthesis, curiosity, organization, autonomy, business acumen.
    Agility, Speed and Entrepreneurial fire : experience in strong growth environment where company changes every 6 months, ability to pivot quickly or take decisions.
    Communication: be it written or oral, you are able to express clearly technical or business problems. You have a strong synthesis capacity.  You are able to adapt your communication to  the person you are talking to. Empathy is one of your strengths, and you are able to calm down discussions when people disagree.

NICE TO HAVE ✌️✌️

  • E-commerce expertise: you have worked in an e-commerce environment and you know the basics well (catalog management, search, logistics, payments…), you are familiar with marketplace concepts (supply, demand, network effect…).
  • Start or scale up experience  (nice to have).

  • You are fond of DIY, refurbishing an apartment or a house is part of your hobbies, this is great!
  • If you started your own company (even if a failure), this is an extra bonus !
