SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

We’re proud to partner with some of the most recognized names across the globe including the Dallas Cowboys, Brooklyn Nets, and Liverpool F.C., as well as the NFL, MLS, half of the English Premier League, and theaters across NYC’s Broadway and London’s West End.

As we grow, the scale of our technical challenges - along with their effect on our clients and their fans - continues to increase. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to help shape and execute our rightsholder product strategy and roadmap

What you’ll do

  • Manage a portfolio of small, medium, and large product initiatives, united under a clearly-articulated product strategy. You’ll prioritize, define, build, and iterate on features to improve and expand this portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, developing a firm understanding of their needs, dependencies, and priorities - and translate that into a long-term product roadmap
  • Make product decisions backed by quantitative and qualitative data, mixed with an innate sense for what will delight our users
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage planned and unplanned work, make trade-offs, and balance speed with quality
  • Partner with an engineering counterpart on planning, execution, and delivery
  • Proactively communicate updates on deliverables and outcomes to stakeholders, and be an ambassador for your product area to the product team and broader organization
  • Provide mentorship to other product team members
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to improve product planning and development
  • Advocate for and act as an ambassador to the rest of the company for an owned product vertical, communicating work and celebrating wins

What you have

  • A proven track record of shipping products, with 5+ years of relevant product experience (bonus points if you have Enterprise B2B Product experience)
  • A technical background, are intensely curious about the technology that powers the products you work on, and have a deep level of data fluency
  • Experience working with external clients to balance expectations with engineering delivery capabilities
  • Strong decision making skills with a balanced view of data, domain expertise, and gut instinct
  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) skills and ability to build genuine, collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the org
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and cross-functional initiatives including planning, execution, and delivery
  • You can translate technical jargon into human-readable ideas and concepts (and vice versa), and are comfortable communicating anything from project status updates to long-term strategic plans to diverse audiences including senior leadership, stakeholders, and your peers
  • Knowledge of the primary ticketing industry is a plus. Even better if you have experience working with one of the Big 4 sports leagues or performing arts

Our stack

  • Scheduling/Orchestration: Airflow
  • ETL: Fivetran, Python and dbt
  • Data Warehouse: Redshift
  • Event Stream: mParticle
  • Experimentation: Optimizely
  • Dashboarding: Looker & Hex
  • Code versioning: Gitlab
  • Required languages: SQL and Python

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Flexible PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Annual subscriptions to Headspace, Ginger.io, and One Medical
  • $120 a month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music
