YOUR ROLE 

As a Senior Product Manager you will work together with the Search team to build and optimize Trade Republics’ Search experience used by millions of users. As a data-driven company, we need to know how to best serve our users, and we do this using data. The team will have data scientists embedded to help enable this culture. Expect a blank slate. While Search exists, this will be a new team developing new pipelines from scratch. You and your talented team will be tasked with finding ways to make impact quickly while implementing projects to ensure long-term success.

Within the Search team, you will work cross-functionally and maintain a pulse on the new initiatives coming out of other teams that affect your domain. You will have your hands on one of the most used features in all of Trade Republic and can play a huge part in transitioning the product from a utility to a trusted personalized service. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Gain a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements and manage the implementation of new tools and services

• Be the primary product partner for the Engineering and Data Science teams building Trade Republics Search experience and optimizing CTR

• Keep open communication with stakeholders by building relationships with the broader business for the critical work your teams are doing through data-driven decisions

• Translate stakeholder requests into data requirements 

• Foster an environment that is customer-focused, data driven, and hypothesis based

• Manage the full product lifecycle, including ideation, defining features, writing requirement specifications, leading the execution of changes, and launch of complex features and products

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience across product management and/or engineering roles

• Experience building and shipping complex and high impact data products

• Background or experience working on Search 

• The ability to think big, be data-driven, and focused on helping deliver industry-leading experiences

• Structured thinking and clear communication style, both verbal and written

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, analytical techniques, and the scientific method required

• Passion and drive for continuous learning

• A humble and conscious approach that not all good ideas are yours, and not all ideas are good

• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others
