About the role:

Foursquare is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to lead the SDK product vision across all platforms (Web, iOS, Android, Cloud). You will have the opportunity to work directly with Foursquare customers to understand their challenges and work with go-to-market teams (business development, marketing) to launch new products. The Foursquare SDK is used by partners such as GasBuddy, Wendy’s, SuperLocal, Fetch Rewards, Freebird Rides and many more to power real-time engagement, analytics, and personalized experience use cases.

You’re constantly thinking on how to build the best possible products for developers that are building on the Foursquare platform. You will be working with a dedicated engineering team to build new SDK offerings and improve existing features. You have a good understanding of privacy constraints, clean rooms technologies and cloud environment. You easily manage several projects at once. You work great under pressure. You don’t miss deadlines.

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Define the product vision, plans, and compelling enhancements based on partners/developers understanding, analytics, macro trends and growth potential
  • Gain alignment across teams and functions to drive execution
  • Identify key metrics, objectives, and results that will define success
  • Work collaboratively with design, analytics, and engineering team members to ship products
  • Create and maintain a roadmap and engineering tickets that are 2-6 sprints ahead
  • Communicate regularly across stakeholders, product teams, customers, and executive leadership

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience shipping products in a dynamic and fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Saas: you have a strong understanding of Saas products and business models
  • Technical: you are comfortable working with engineering leadership to prioritize broadly while also working with engineers to understand the technical complexities of your product area.
  • Analytical: you’re detail-oriented and can construct a strong narrative using data to drive the decision-making process. You know when to kill features and ignore customer feedback.
  • Communication: you’re a strong communicator, both written and oral. You enjoy working with complex concepts and distilling them down so that anyone can understand them. 
  • Organizational skills: you can juggle multiple projects, effectively working with senior members of the team to prioritize and focus on the most impactful work.
  • Team player: you know how to work with all different types of personalities and can navigate tough conversations. You build consensus by default but can drive hard decisions when you have to. You push the pace. You take blame and pass on praise. 
  • Adaptive: you are curious, optimistic, and a creative problem-solver. You embrace the unknown and are able to adapt to shifts in priorities. You look outside your day-to-day to ensure you are learning and growing.
  • Follow-through: you say what you’ll do, and do what you say. You don’t let details slip. 
  • Bonus: if you have a background in engineering, data science.
