We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and empathetic person to drive the roadmap and build a digital experience for members of our health insurance plans, from helping users to find care through search to understanding their care costs. The Senior Product Manager will partner with design, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess consumer and Sana internal users' needs, prioritize them, define solutions, and iteratively work towards it. You’ll be joining a talented, experienced team and be a part of building something special from the ground up.
What you will do
- Deeply understand Sana members’ and business needs: identify and prioritize jobs-to-be done leveraging research and member feedback
- Partner with cross functional leads to define solutions and delivery timelines iteratively, as well as influence other teams’ roadmaps
- Deliver prioritized work timely in partnership with engineering and design
- Translate business and member needs into clear product requirements including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings to keep the team aligned and ensure timely delivery
- Define the member experience product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's goals, define and measuring success via KPIs, and iterate to drive continuous improvement
- Act as a product advocate, champion, and liaison between different stakeholders, clearly communicate across the organization
- Conduct product demos, training sessions, and presentations to various audiences, including support and sales teams.
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, product marketing, and other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
About you
- 5+ years of building consumer experiences by measuring progress and iterating
- Ability to dive into technical problems (e.g APIs, search) and clearly communicate cross functionally, in a remote first environment
- Experience in driving vision and results: you’ve created and rallied support around strategies that shaped the direction of your products and delivered on that vision iteratively
- Self driven to learn new things and adapt in a rapidly growing startup
- Excited to make quality healthcare understandable, accessible, and affordable
- Preferred:
- Understanding of healthcare and health insurance, and experience with provider data and search experiences in particular
- Experience working and evolving API powering front end experiences
