Senior Product Manager - Revenue Engineering Platform

The Revenue Engineering team is at the core of monetization and go-to-market at Datadog, and is responsible for metering and aggregating product usage, SaaS subscription modeling and lifecycle, and surfacing usage and cost insights for all of our customers and product offerings. 

As a Product Manager on the Revenue Engineering platform team, you will be leading the metering and billing engineering teams to make this critical platform easier to onboard new products, as well as expand its capabilities to address the most advanced requirements of Datadog’s newer products. 

You’ll join at an ideal time to make a big impact as the platform is seeing tremendous growth and launching new initiatives, such as standalone metering.

What You’ll Do: 

• Collaborate with all Product and Engineering teams at Datadog to understand their metering needs and address them in a single technical platform
• Work with the Revenue Engineering team to develop and evangelize platform priorities and roadmap that inspire our teams’ best work and deliver real value 
• Have exec-level conversations internally and externally, balancing company-wide business priorities and initiatives while advocating for the technical constraints at play
• Help others remove roadblocks towards meeting team goal
• Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration across the department and broader organization and act as a leader in the Product organization

Who You Are: 

• An experienced Product Manager with a proven track record managing complex data platforms, ideally at a SaaS company and/or on a data engineering team
• You have a strong technical background and understand the basics of metering and analytics
• You have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• You have a passion for fast-paced, high-growth environment scaling existing products and evangelizing a technical platform 
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
