Senior Product Manager, Restaurant Diner Experience

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for our Restaurant team to redefine the experience diners have on Tripadvisor when looking for the next restaurant to dine at.  You will have the opportunity to define the vision for your features, build a roadmap, and lead a cross-functional team to deliver delightful experiences for users.

The Senior Product Manager is a strategic, user-centric, and use hypothesis-driven approaches. You have a bias for action, are motivated by delivering results, and are passionate about solving customer problems. You are a delightful paradox - artist and mathematician, a leaper and a grinder, and able to think about this sprint and the next quarter’s roadmap simultaneously.

What You'll Do:

• Understand and influence the product strategy of the new Restaurant experience on Tripadvisor
• Develop requirements and specifications informed by the product strategy, competitive positioning, customer feedback, technical feasibility, and your unique insight.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, owning a roadmap with multiple features from conception through launch to maturity and support.
• Embrace hypothesis testing methodology: work with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to define, build, and launch tests, internalize the learnings, and iterate to find and roll out wins.
• Be data-driven - always keep your metrics and measurement in mind. Wherever possible, use data to inform and strengthen your argument. Be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving into the data.

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of high-scale internet product management experience. Experience with two-sided platforms, international expansion, or Machine Learning driven products is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Able to ask the right questions, interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.
• Strong user-centricity and creative skills. Able to dive into the complex design tradeoffs of consumer products and evolve creative ways to unlock user value.
• Good business judgment when making decisions and understanding the relevance/impact of each decision on the strategic direction of the team and the business
• Self-motivation, autonomy, and tenacity - you have a track record of taking on complex and broad problem sets, creating structure, mobilizing teams, and pushing forward through challenges. All while staying transparent and knowing when to ask for help.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions.
• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast-growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.
• Teamwork skills are essential because we are better together

The salary range for this role is $155,000 to $175,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
