Our People Technology team is comprised of people with backgrounds in software/integration/automation development, product/project/program management, UI/UX design, and HR. We are tasked with providing a delightful and smooth experience to all Atlassian's through system and process optimization, automation, and integration across all phases of the employee lifecycle.
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager of People Technology. You are a product manager with a background in HR or Recruiting. Here, you'll establish a positive relationship with People, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Atlassian product teams in innovating throughout recruiting while optimizing for lasting experiences. From a systems standpoint, you'll be involved in various aspects of product management to achieve future proof products and design.
In this role, you will:
- Gather product capabilities and requirements collaborating with key stakeholders
- Be a 'thought leader' for digital experience enablement, proactively stay on top of industry trends and best practices, and seek out ways to improve using Atlassian's platforms
- Become a 'conduit' for teams across the business, representing multiple stakeholders/teams when it comes to designing the right experience and bringing everyone together
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, and communicate this back to the IT Team
- Collaborate with systems engineers, developers, design, data science, UX researchers
- Advocate/promote the work through blogs and presentations
- Validating the outputs of work done to ensure UAT before launch
- Be the 'voice of the customer' (i.e. candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, org leaders, etc.)
- Help run/maintain team rituals (e.g. sprint planning, retros)
- Contribute to Business and IT Quarterly reviews
- Find ways to optimize/automate the existing people technology & procedures
On your first day we'll expect you to have:
- 5+ years of product management experience and at least 2 years of working experience on HR or Recruiting eco-system and connected capabilities
- Experience working with technical team members to design, manage and implement solutions
- Experience prioritizing and delivering the most meaningful things first
- Proven expertise in mapping requirements to technical solutions and are willing to see projects through the finish line
- Nice to have: Prior CRM/ATS experience and exposure to full-cycle recruiting
