Datadog Real User Monitoring (RUM) empowers enterprises to unlock their business growth by helping them discover, troubleshoot and fix the slowness and bugs in their web and mobile applications. Using those insights, RUM customers can build better online experiences that attract and retain their own customers.

Together with your engineering team, you will define the future of this fast-growing business. Specifically, as a Product Manager in the RUM team, your work will help make RUM a best-in-class performance monitoring product running on more platforms and technologies, providing customers more power and control over their data. Your role will be to ensure that the product is configurable, yet easy to adopt at scale, and deeply integrated with other Datadog products. Your decisions will have a deep impact on both the product and the day-to-day job of our customers.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn about the monitoring of web and mobile applications, allowing you to know in detail what it means for an application to be fast and reliable.
  • Identify customers' needs and business opportunities through quantitative data analysis and qualitative customer interviews.
  • Translate needs and opportunities into business cases, features, product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Define and lead the vision and strategy to drive business through new initiatives, with the Real User Monitoring team and sister teams in Datadog.
  • Work closely with our world-class, distributed and inclusive engineering team to deliver capabilities that unlock customer value.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success and technical writing teams to deliver new features and services that are easy to use and understand.
  • Communicate feature releases to internal and external users.

Who You Are:

  • You have a proven track record as a product manager, ideally at a SaaS company.
  • You get things done and are motivated by the impact your actions have around you.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Bonus you have experience building an analytics product

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $187,000 to $240,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
