The Shipping team is on a mission to help merchants meet and exceed buyer expectations of fast and cheap delivery, expand our products internationally and scale our platform to meet the needs of medium and large merchants. From the fastest and best converting shipping step in checkout to international expansion of Shopify Shipping, the Shipping team is reducing the learning curve and barrier to entry for all merchants.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team as we reimagine how the Shipping step of checkout can be highly performant while remaining extensible and serving the needs of all merchants. We want buyers to be able to have the best shipping experience while helping merchants easily balance their shipping & fulfillment needs.

In the Shipping team, Senior Product Managers have a passion for working on foundational experiences of Shopify that 100% of merchants and buyers use. You will be hands-on and lead this team together with your trifecta consisting of a UX- and Development manager. Constantly seeking and identifying the most impactful opportunities that helps drive performance and conversion on Shopify’s checkout. Working closely with Engineering, UX, Data and other internal teams to reimagine the most performant and highly converting version of shipping steps of checkout. Leveraging the success metrics and tripwires you have designed in advance to assess, iterate and improve upon the experience to ensure maximum impact.

You are outcome focused and find ways to achieve them regardless of the obstacles. You have a proven track record of shipping technical products and platforms and getting things done at scale.

• Strong technical skills and proven record of managing complex and technically challenging products

• Excellent analytical skills and data-informed when building product conviction

• Experience running teams at fast growing companies

• Proven track record of having shipped impactful and high quality product initiatives

• Built a team culture of prototyping and shipping at a fast pace

• Exceptional problem solving skills, high attention to detail, and first principles thinking

• Great communication skills with a strong ability to align with stakeholders and leadership towards a common goal
