Akeneo’s product management team is comprised of almost twenty talented product managers and product directors. Our overall product department consists of ninety-five teammates. We value high collaboration between product management, engineering, product design, and customer support.

Job Description

Akeneo PIM (Product Information Management) aims at helping merchants to centralize, translate and control the quality of the product information, leading to higher transformation rates, better SEO, shorter time-to-market, and lower return rates.

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to drive our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. We want to position our products as the primary driver of growth for Akeneo.

You will partner on a daily basis with the other Product Managers in charge of the overall Akeneo product portfolio, Software Engineers, Engineering leaders, Designers, Product Marketing, and your business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the PLG product roadmap, prioritize and collaborate with peers across the organization to drive cross-functional ownership and execution.
• Be the voice of Product-Led Growth across the whole organization, create buy-in for the PLG product vision
• Combine data, prospect, and customer-facing experts feedback to frame problems
• Develop solutions that delight prospects & customers and advance business goals
• Act as a PLG product evangelist to build awareness and understanding for internal and external audiences
• Proactively partner with teams (Product, Product Marketing, Legal, Sales, Business Operations) who own pieces of the experience and collaborate closely with high trust
• Contribute to the product vision and overall strategic direction of the organization
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact according to the Akeneo global strategy
• Work with the Product Marketing team on developing product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes with the help of the UX designers
• Manage your backlog: write, prioritize and test your user stories
• Be a reliable point of contact on the product health monitoring

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Growth Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, or Performance Marketing Manager with at least 2+ years of experience on Growth-focused strategies

• Data-driven, you like to mix the right usage, financial, or market data, to run relevant analysis and make data-informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, diplomacy is your best asset

• Fluent communication in English (a strong French accent is ok), both written and oral
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a technical environment
• Business-minded, you tie product investment to business outcomes

Work location: The position is opened in Amsterdam, but regular visits to Nantes, France will be necessary, where the Product team is located.
