Senior Product Manager, Pocket Experience

Pocket empowers people to discover, organize, consume, and share the content that matters to them. Our apps and platform are essential ways that millions of people discover and consume content on the web. 

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial product manager to lead one of our consumer-facing product teams. Your job will be to identify and prioritize the right problems and opportunities, partner with a cross-functional group of collaborators to craft and build the right solutions, and measure and validate the success of your work.

What you’ll do: 

• Partner with designers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to efficiently ship world-class experiences that deliver impact for our business and users. 
• Develop a deep understanding of our users’ needs, using data and user insights to inform product decision-making.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape our overall product vision and direction.
• Lead product strategy, roadmapping, and execution for your product area, building alignment across other product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership team.
• Drive execution across our Android, iOS, and Web apps, guiding the process from product idea through to product launch.
• Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results, and create accountability within the wider team against those goals. 
• Implement best-in-class product development and management practices.

• Lead agile teams to ship consumer-facing products that users love and rave about. 
• Distill ambiguous concepts into easily understood action plans for your team. 
• Leverage data and user insights to prioritize, understand, and measure your work.
• Take a user-centric approach to design easy-to-use and intuitive products for our users. 
• Identify key collaborators across the organization regardless of formal role or function.
• Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve the way we work. 
• Accomplish all of the above with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
