We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Platform

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Payments Platform team who are a key enabler of revenue generation at Babbel. In your role as Senior PM, Platform you will align with key stakeholders across Growth, Revenue, Data & Legal, define the team’s vision, strategy and requirements, and deliver amazing outcomes. The Payments Platform team focuses on payment processing of subscription transactions, subscription management, plus price and discount management across Babbel’s wide geographic scope of business

You will:

• Be responsible for guiding the Payments Platform roadmap: how can they maximize B2C subscription revenue across the company, while minimizing internal costs and resources spent
• Create buy-in on priorities and deliverables with stakeholders
• Measure, monitor and analyze metrics to learn from what your team ships, while also considering security and compliance aspects 
• Be a key collaborator with Architects and Principles in the Platform and Growth departments at Babbel, as well as with the broader Engineering and Product Management chapters
• Collaborate with our Data teams to ensure we have airtight tracking of the subscription revenue we earn

You are:

• A professional product manager, who knows when to apply attention to detail, when to paint broad strokes, and when to consult experts
• Technically oriented, with one eye on the business side
• Eager to break down complex problems into shippable solutions

You have experience in:

• Technical/Platform product management with a proven track record of end-to-end delivery of successful platforms, ideally in the Payments, eCommerce or Subscriptions space
• Managing complex sets of priorities from a broad group of stakeholders, while gracefully maintaining purpose and vision so that your team can deliver amazing results
• Understanding of the latest technologies & tactics in payment processing and providers, and subscription management across web and app platforms
• Translating engineering platform outputs into business or revenue outcomes

You have:

• An ownership mentality and proven ability to persuade your colleagues that what they are investing their time and resources in will be successful
• Strong passion for building platforms as a product, and the payments space
• Scalability and flexibility always on your mind
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
