We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join Spotify’s Personalization, Talk knowledge team. We build models, tools, and data products for understanding talk content and users in order to generate world-class podcast and audiobook recommendations for hundreds of millions of users. In this role you will work with product and engineering teams across the Personalization mission to shape and implement Spotify’s policies and principles around recommendations. Your team will be responsible for building capabilities that allow us to deliver relevant and safe podcast and audiobook recommendation experiences that delight our users.

Who You Are

Someone who is familiar working with ambiguity at the intersection of product policy and recommendation quality and ideally has direct experience in the field to lean on
5+ years of Product Management experience including building a roadmap, prioritizing work, and empowering consistent delivery outcomes
You have delivered projects that have shown proven impact for your business
You are experienced in making hard data-informed decisions (A/B testing and experimentation, data analysis, defining metrics)
You have worked with senior leaders and managed expectations senior partners from several different disciplines and diverse backgrounds.
Previous experience in the technology industry working on algorithmic responsibility or trust and safety issues
Domain knowledge in content recommendations
Experience running strategy for large, cross-functional projects
Experience measuring success of efforts that may not be aligned with overarching business metrics (e.g. balancing engagement with responsibility)

What You'll Do

We are hiring a Sr. Product Manager for a team that focuses on recommendation eligibility for talk audio content so that we can provide safe, entertaining, and relevant recommendations.
This team will be centered in the Talk Group within Personalization Knowledge vertical
This person will also partner across business units, working closely with Trust and Safety and Global Affairs, Content Platform, legal, comms and PR.

The United States base range for this position is $134,481 - $192,116, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
