Senior Product Manager, Perception

The Perception team is responsible for improving Duolingo’s world-class user experience and app performance. We’re looking for a Senior PM who is obsessed with user experience and product quality, to lead this team and help steward the Duolingo app.

You Will...

• Drive strategy and long-term roadmap for the Perception team
• Identify the high-leverage opportunities to increase learner delight, through performance, animations, notifications, in-app callouts, and other levers
• Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
• Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure an excellent user experience in our product
• Work with engineers to help guide feature development
• Perform quantitative analysis on features’ performance and find opportunities for optimization
• Be responsible for hitting the key performance indicators you are entrusted with

You Have...

• 4+ years experience generating outstanding results as a Product Manager at a successful software company
• Exceptional design sense and knowledge of UI patterns
• Ability to apply user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions
• Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and innovative
• A track record of building high-quality consumer products
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Design, Psychology, or equivalent
• Ability to work full-time from or relocate to Berlin, Germany

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• Extensive experience in fast-growing, consumer-facing, data-driven startups, ideally mobile app based.
