The Marketplaces Payments team plays a critical role in our mission by unlocking value across our merchants, their affiliates and our marketplace partners.
As a Product Manager on the Marketplace Payments team, you will be critical in defining the strategy and capabilities that enable our merchants, marketplace partners and affiliates to monetize and move money to meet our merchant, marketplace and regulatory policies.
Responsibilities
Think strategically about new product opportunities, business models and play an integral role in driving our marketplace product strategy
Lead discussions with Eng/Design/Data/Security/Legal/Finance/Partners and other cross-functional teams to define the product strategy and roadmap
Negotiate solution and roadmap alignment with partners, internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Define the product principles / assumptions / outcomes / success metrics and GTM plans
Essentials:
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the Software industry.
Experience defining roadmap & strategy, feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Ability to contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively communicate those to senior leadership, our partners and key stakeholders.
Strong technical skills and proven record of managing complex and technically challenging products in a fast paced environment.
An ability to think strategically and creatively using sound business judgment.
Proven track record of shipping impactful and high quality product initiatives.
Exceptional problem solving skills, high attention to detail, and first principles thinking.
We value individuals with a growth mindset, who are confident, but humble, who roll up their sleeves, and have the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Nice to have:
eCommerce industry knowledge and experience.
Hands-on experience working on payment and money movement products.
Hands-on experience working with APIs and SDKs.
