We are looking for an experienced Product Manager for the Fintech team at Gusto to lead new payments products that Gusto can offer to the businesses on its platform.

As a lead product manager in the Payments team you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Engineers, Designers and Data Scientists to deliver new fintech products and scale existing fintech products on the Gusto Platform. You will have the freedom to build/buy/partner for payments related products that can drive value to our Gustomers and enable them to focus on the success of their business.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Directly drive top-line revenue by introducing new Payments products that benefit our Gustomers and Gusto. 
  • Partner with engineering, design, data science and other cross-functional partners to build products that enable Gustomers to grow their businesses
  • Identify emerging opportunities and industry trends, build business cases, and define product vision and strategy
  • Leverage your payments and product expertise to ensure that the Gusto platform is able to scale and reliably and accurately deliver on every payment. 

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in shipping products with great user experience. 
  • Experience in working with Payments rails like ACH, Card networks, and other international payment rails.
  • Record of delivering innovative Payments products.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Design, Data Sciences, Customer Success, Payment Operations and Legal teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that can help the team understand customer problems and drive prioritization

Our cash compensation range for this role is $155,000/yr to $199,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $188,000/yr to $242,000/yr in San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
