Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team. As a Product Manager (Data sources) you will be responsible for the end to end management of implementing features and improvements to Ortto’s data sources. Specifically, this will involve integrating Ortto with 3rd party systems in a way which make things as easy as possible for Ortto customers. Each integration will be a solution to a problem and include reports, dashboards and campaign templates to help the customer implement key use cases. This will require prior research and a deep understanding of the customer.

This is an opportunity to be deeply involved in early development of a product which will be used by hundreds of thousands of businesses. You will be given the responsibility and ownership for managing individual data source projects with your own experience and input being desired and required for improving and expanding our product.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the management and design teams to understand and define the requirements for Ortto’s data sources features.
• Research, understand and specify 3rd-party integrations for Ortto’s data sources.
• Implement 3rd party data source integrations by working with the development team.
• Verify data sources and their adherence to design, specifications and Ortto development principles.
• Work with QA and develop manual and automated testing procedures for data sources.
• Write concise documentation and help center articles for data sources.
• Develop implementation templates for campaigns, reports and dashboards that help users who install a data source get immediate value.
• Write development briefs and deliver kick-off calls to initiate the development of data sources.
• Solicit, gather and analyse customer feedback and propose future data sources based on popularity, viability and the benefit to the business.
• Maintaining existing data sources monitoring for potential improvements as 3rd parties add features, security updates, API compatibility maintenance and responding to customer feedback.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager on a SaaS product with a large audience.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of integrating with 3rd party APIs.
• An understanding of the balance between shipping quality and getting things done.
• Experience with automated testing, QA and principled development.
• Great communication skills and experience managing development teams.
