We’re looking for a thoughtful, experienced Product Manager with a proven track record of defining, building, and launching products to join our team.
You drive the productization of our securities research work for uptake within the bank and with clients. This is a key role that builds bridges between our research work and the broader bank. You’ll understand the zeitgeist and client pull for values-based investing and asset classes; which end users, distribution channels and key surfaces matter most, and how we can best satisfy their needs. In doing so, you’ll work end-to-end across OpenInvest and JPMC teams to build the research product, define the user outcomes, and everything in between. Specifically:
- You’ll work closely with the OpenInvest Investment Research team to align their research roadmap to JPMC business needs
- You’ll refine how we package our values-based research for consumption in a consistent, compliant, understandable, and marketable manner
- You’ll take a holistic view of ESG and values-based ratings to inform how they should be presented to fulfill the three use cases of financial materiality, fulfilling regulatory requirements, and aligning to client values
- You’ll build partnerships with teams working in this space in JPMC (Sustainable Investing; Due Diligence, etc) to inform how our work and roadmaps co-exist with their roadmaps and their needs
- In doing so, you’ll play a key role in the definition and development of a data platform for metrics used across the organization
Strategize
- Own a complete product
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities
- Devise strategy, vision, and roadmap for your product
- Define & track key business and product metrics; develop strategies to drive growth
Craft
- Work closely with cross-functional partners (UX, marketing, sales, data science, etc) to align on product behavior and requirements
- Tell the story of the product, secure buy-in across the organization
- Write detailed and clear user product requirements
Execute
- Work with engineering to develop and deploy new products features
- Help the team navigate complex problems as they arise, and communicate decisions and rationale to stakeholders and executives in clear presentations
- Improve team processes as needed to get the job done
Ideal Candidate
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a consumer or enterprise technology environment
- 6+ years of industry experience (technology or finance)
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment, handling stakeholder experience, and startup experience is a plus but not required
- Industry experience in finance or financial products, sustainable investing is preferred
