Senior Product Manager- New venture - Door to Door

BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel network, connecting over 100 million members across 22 countries looking to carpool or travel by bus. By sharing rides and filling empty seats on the road, our community avoids 1.6 million tons of CO2 emissions every year (as if Paris was free of road traffic for a year!)

We are a global and diverse team of 700+ people with 45+ nationalities, and headquartered in Paris. We’re constantly looking for new ways to leverage technology to create a more affordable, convenient, flexible and sustainable way to travel. And we are always on the lookout for people who care about making a positive impact.

As part of our ambition to fill the millions of empty seats on the road, we’re looking at cracking the carpool Door-To-Door usage. Could there be a product to pick up and drop off passengers exactly where they want on a long-distance ride, leveraging our community of carpool drivers? This would make passengers even more convenient while maximizing our drivers' savings.

We’re launching a dedicated, independent team to build a new product and usage to crack this usage.

As the Senior Product Manager, you’ll be one of the three pillars of that new business unit, working hand-in-hand with its General Manager and an experienced Engineering manager. You’ll have to define, test, and iterate a product that doesn’t exist today until we’ve found the right product to be scaled.  Everything has to be built from scratch, which means fast iterations with prototypes and doing many things that don’t scale to maximize our learnings!

You’ll be supported by a Senior Product Designer and a Senior Product Marketing Manager fully dedicated to the project. You’ll also be able to leverage other resources within the organization. You’ll directly report to the VP of Product & Design.
