Our mission is to create tools that help artists and their teams build an audience, monetize their fans, and live off their work. This is a new team, focused on ensuring both creators and enterprise users alike can manage their Spotify universe with ease.

In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team from Product, Design, Engineering, Product Insights, Legal, and Music Partnerships, as well as others, to continue developing Spotify Manage - a central hub for creators, enterprises, and the teams who support them who want to seamlessly engage with the portfolio of Spotify products to further their business. This central hub will consolidate team management, access, payments, and other controls across Spotify products and provide these users a seamless experience in setting themselves and their teams up for success. You will become an expert on the wide range of users that depend on our products and think about how Spotify Manage should nurture a creator who may be working alone in one Spotify product today, but who plans to grow their team and build their business by using multiple Spotify products tomorrow.

You will help drive the roadmap for Spotify Manage and collaborate with your counterparts across the company to align on what capabilities should live in Spotify Manage, when they should be introduced, and who should be involved in the process. Along the way, you will ensure that the team is measuring its impact both for the end-user as well as Spotify.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Product Area Lead and Agile support team members to nurture the team by running workshops to align on mission, vision, ways of working, user journey, and the product development roadmap.
  • Engage with development team as the Product Owner to contribute to and lead aspects of our agile scrum practices (ie. participation with standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, quarterly planning and retrospectives).
  • Help to define and own team goals and OKRs with focus on Mission level impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering leads to ensure Spotify Manage evolves in the right phases with scalability in mind.
  • Partner with User Research and Data Science to ensure the team has the right product insights and understands the needs of all its various users and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across product teams to ensure that all the proper teams are involved in delivering various aspects of the product depending on the need.
  • Learn as much about other product areas as possible, ensuring that you understand how the work of others should impact the decisions your team is making.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners — including artist & label partnerships, licensing, legal, and support — ensuring feedback is prioritized and ultimately leads to a better product for creators.
  • Continually refine and communicate the product strategy – building internal awareness and support for the team’s roadmap.
  • Who You Are:

  • You’re a compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types both orally and in writing.
