We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, Verizon and Visa. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

Requirements

We need a bar-setting Senior Product Manager to own and solve our most complex product problems. Talent is distributed evenly but opportunity is not. Only by applying technology can we address a challenge of this scale.

Where can we apply machine learning and game based assessments to make finding talent fairer? How do we blend synchronous and asynchronous learning seamlessly? How does a platform split to serve school leavers and enterprise executives? These are some of the questions we are answering right now. We’re looking for people to solve these and discover the most important questions to ask next.

Our engineering, design and product team is 50 strong and growing fast. We split across 3 domains: Candidate, Apprentice and Client. In each area we need Product Managers plotting a bold course to the next version of Multiverse while delivering value continuously.

No two days at Multiverse are the same, so we need someone who is comfortable with the unknown unknowns. On top of that, we want someone who will be passionate about building structure and process into our growing team in a way that doesn’t hold us back from achieving our goals.

Once here, you will:

  • Create product strategy and set a vision from your understanding of our key business objectives
  • Lead a squad of designers, engineers and UXers to write epics and user stories
  • Build your own product roadmap whilst maintaining and prioritising the product backlog
  • Track releases using clearly defined success metrics
  • Understand the needs and wants of our candidates in order to create a high quality experience that delivers real value and benefit to the user
  • Shape the way our product team works to set us up for success as we enter a crucial growth phase
  • Mentor and coach team members in great product practice.

About you:

  • You have 4+ years’ of experience as a Product Manager of cross-functional teams that deliver excellent software
  • You care about the outcome - not just the output, utilising data and creating metrics to quantify success
  • You believe in close collaboration with UX research, design, and engineering teams as creative partners, using leading product practice to continuously deliver value and learning
  • You’re fluent in Agile methodologies and have worked with teams who utilise Scrum or Kanban frameworks
  • You’ve got exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience in bringing business partners with you to develop class-leading products

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days
  • Health & wellbeing - private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, and access to Spill - all in one mental health support
  • Hybrid & remote working - weekly or monthly visits to the London office
  • Equity - every Multiverse employee has ownership in the business through equity options
  • Team fun - weekly socials and regular offsite events

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We’re an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change.

Safeguarding

All posts in Multiverse involve some degree of responsibility for safeguarding. Successful applicants are required to complete a Disclosure Form from the Disclosure and Barring Service ("DBS") for the position.
