Senior Product Manager

As the Product Manager for Web Technologies you will:

• Maintain a deep understanding of web development communities and act as their internal representative to facilitate web platform advances
• Guide the platform strategy and roadmap for Firefox’s core web technologies, identifying and prioritizing critical capabilities
• Team with product, UX and engineering to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market
• Follow and potentially participate in the organizations that standardize the open web (W3C, WHATWG, TC39, IETF)
• Supply a deep knowledge of users along with data about how they engage with various web technologies
• Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to the various technologies used by Firefox

Professional Profile

• Multiple years of experience with the techniques and methods of modern product management from discovery to delivery
• Excellent familiarity in the languages of the web (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) with a solid understanding of how modern web applications work
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue including a grasp of the trade-offs involved when using frameworks
• Ability to learn and operate across multiple functional areas of the business - engineering, design, finance, data science, marketing
• Can engage with peers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
