The Team You’ll Work With
We are the Financial Products & Infrastructure (FPI) team at Carta that enables money movement, banking, and KYC platform solutions for all Carta products. You will be working on the money movement stream within the FPI team. We empower the Carta product ecosystem to enable money movement and provide a seamless payment experience for our customers. In 2021, we processed over $20B through our in-house money movement platform across Carta products. We take pride in reconciling transactions to the penny. We are relentless in solving complex money movement problems while also building a truly platform solution that can scale. Currently, we support money movement for 106 countries and 61 currencies. We partner closely with multiple product teams, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to launch products with in-app money movement solutions.
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Enable money movement for all Carta products including CartaX and Investor Services
- Scale Carta money movement platform to be product and bank agnostic
- Elevate user’s payments experience across product flows
- Increase international payment coverage by enabling low cost local payment rails for non US customers
The Impact You’ll Have
Carta is launching new products at an unprecedented rate. Many of these products require money movement as a core need to create amazing customer experiences that yield customer and emotional loyalty.
About You
You have a minimum of 3 years experience working on money movement related initiatives and at least 2 years of experience working as a product manager. As a subject matter expert in money movement, you are able to influence and drive both strategy and execution for money movement initiatives. Have a keen interest in bringing the latest payment capabilities to the platform while also balancing settlement, fraud, and compliance risks. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to drive decisions while also ruthlessly prioritizing must-haves. You have experience managing platform products, supporting multiple consumer facing products, managing internal tools, and providing a unified vision across the organization.
