topi offers new digital payment solutions for business sellers and buyers. The B2B market has remained largely untouched by the overwhelming success of “buy now, pay later” solutions and subscription services in the consumer space. topi wants to change this and through its products offer business customers attractive new payment choices. Your Role

Your main responsibility is to care for our customers: You’ll help make sure we are doing the right things and are doing things right from their point of view. This will require you to be a team player, solving complex problems at the intersection of product design/UX, technical development, sales, and operations.

You will fit right in if you enjoy:

• 👥 Understanding the customers - make sure we know the customers’ needs and get their feedback on what we do
• 🤓 Figuring out problems and priorities- structure complex and ambiguous problems so we can understand their impact, tradeoffs, and requirements. Ensure we make informed decisions on scope and priorities.
• ⛹️‍♀️ Getting to work as a team - build strong cross-functional relationships, align on what to do, why, and when. Help remove blockers and communicate progress to the wider company.
• 📈 Delivering and improving - join in on a constant process of learning by getting things done, measuring impact and making them better

The product development team includes design and product-minded engineers and has worked in companies like Apple, GoCardless and Mozilla. Ideally you will be based in Berlin! Joining us, you will get to shape the product and culture of a brand new company. We’re looking for self-starters, who inspire and are inspired by a culture of collaboration, impact, and learning.

What we are looking for

• Proven knowledge, skill and experience as a product manager
• You love working cross-functionally, are naturally curious and you will always think of the customer first
• You have excellent communication skills and motivate by building an environment of trust and collaboration
• You have a knack for analysis and can break down a problem so it can be decided with data, when possible.
• Willingness to make the occasional business trip to Berlin for on-sites

Nice to have:

• Previous work experience in FinTech, payment or eCommerce
• You’ve already played a part in building a new product
• Fluent in German: while we have an international team, our first market is Germany, so it will be helpful for customer and partner discussions
