The role

As Senior Product Manager, Merchants you will own our product portfolio for merchants - building, launching and continuously improving the digital products that enable our merchant partners to get the most from ZIp.

Reporting to the Director of Product, Payments, you will work closely within a highly skilled cross-functional squad of engineers and designers to deliver value to our partners, and drive acquisition and engagement metrics.

We need a data-driven thinker who deeply understands the needs of SMB and enterprise merchants and possesses known capabilities in delivering solutions merchants love.

You’ll work closely with executive and commercial leadership to understand the business strategy and customer pain points, translate into a product vision and roadmap, and bring it to life alongside your team.

To help us level up, you’ll need to bring:

5+ years’ experience in tech and digital product management roles
Experience as a product manager within a business that provides services to bricks-and-mortar and eCommerce merchants and retailers (additional knowledge of payments gateways is a bonus)
A data-driven and analytical approach to making decisions
Strong prioritisation skills, including knowledge of prioritisation frameworks and approaches
Solid knowledge of agile, strong drive and a structured and result-oriented way of working
Ability to conduct experiments using the latest techniques to test, learn and improve the customer experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The drive, determination and resilience to quickly work through ambiguity to an outcome
Confidence in your own abilities, yet humble enough to admit when you’re wrong
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to move with a sense of urgency, sensitivity to give people space to offer suggestions
A love of autonomy as well as close team-working
