MetaMap is looking for a Group Product Lead / Associate Director to expand their Product team by focusing on the Post Onboarding Merchant experience. The candidate will be owning the User Profile, own the backend and the front-end (including Analytics, and various features on the dashboard). Candidate will also own the Platform for the No-Code DIY experience builder that will be MetaMap's USP in this industry.
The member will be empowered to take own decisions that will take the company forward. Work will range from building new products and influence decisions that are long term.
Responsibilities
Build a Roadmap for the technology team and takes part in sprint plannings, reviews.
Balance both long term goals and short term wins
Strong bias for action, and thinks out of the box and not limited to conventional ideas.
Metric and Data-Driven. Can keep a Data Analyst fully engaged and empower stakeholders
Understand consumer pain points/needs and business imperatives to define product roadmap.
Write detailed product use cases, define customer journeys through mock-ups, workflows, and charts
Work with cross-functional teams such as Country Insights, UX and UI, Engineering, Sales, and Operations
Own what you are building - Running edge cases, testing products proactively, and measuring success metrics regularly
Curious and aware of industry trends, competition, and product innovation globally.
Skills & Experience
Technical background (studied CS, potentially was a developer in the past) and have worked as a B2C Product, B2B SAAS Product, or if your Product was simply APIs.
Great problem solver. Has the knack to question the solution, and the ability to collaborate and identify the real-hidden problem
Managed a complex product and owned its roadmap for at least a year. Seen 0 to 1 and then has helped scale the product to a bigger audience.
Has a strong bias for action and is passionate about the product he/she owns.
Meticulous, highly developed organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
