Job Description

This is a dynamic role within the Consumer Solutions team in the UK&I.  The Consumer Solutions team drives consumer product innovation and development in collaboration with the European product team and the UK&I Sales and Business Development teams. The candidate will be joining a team which focuses on rolling out exciting new solutions in the UK&I market, working closely with a range of partners across the buyer and seller ecosystem.  

The role will have responsibilities within the Consumer Solutions team to support the a) expansion of our Debit and Prepaid products including working with our European team to align on overall market objectives b) defining the UKI Loyalty strategy including partner solutions management and client program rollout c) delivering on our Affluent sales pipeline d) identifying new customer segmenting and product opportunities for the market e) Lead the Everyday Payments team. The candidate will be developing the value proposition, identifying prospect clients, and delivering in market adoption and growth. The candidate will define product strategies, plans, product platform customisation & digitization requests as deemed critical by the business.

Overall product management is a key responsibility of this role, including maintaining core product infrastructure, identifying process and feature improvements, using Visa and external data to analyse trends and produce insights, as well as growth opportunities.

Crucial to the role is the identification and development of product growth strategies designed to open-up new payment flows, accelerate digital issuance, design new product constructs, and expand issuance via strategic partners and enablers.

In addition, this position owns the development of client facing materials (presentations, marketing collateral and thought leadership), develops and provides product performance updates to key internal stakeholders and facilitates the delivery of consumer centric research and data.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should be a self-starter, with the ability to think and act independently, whilst always aligning and balancing the customer priorities to the Visa strategy
  • Excellent track record of successful product delivery within financial services or equivalent industry
  • Deep understanding of P&L KPIs & sharp understanding of macroeconomics, payments regulation, consumer behavior, product operations, business processes
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to get up to speed with new technology payment business models and profitability drivers
  • Experienced with development of new consumer value propositions, a passion for meeting consumer needs and ability to translate customer need to commercially viable propositions
  • Strategic thought leadership coupled with execution bias to support or drive initiatives and meet key result areas
  • Comfortable in utilising data analysis tools to create ongoing business MI for Digital Credential/Crypto programmes and identifying trends to inform proposition development.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in issuing revenue models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills/ability to influence with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, specifically in working in a ‘matrixed’ environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent working experience
