We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for our Learn Management System (LMS) Product Team in the heart of buzzing Berlin! 

As a Senior Product  Manager at Babbel, you will join one of our cross-functional teams working on our LMS. You will be responsible for improving our current LMS - from feature discovery to feature launch. You discover and provide solutions, tools, and services to our content creators so that they can build the best content experience on the market. You are happiest when Babbel learners learn new languages with joy.

You will:

  • Empower the content creation teams to build stellar learning content that goes far beyond the competition.
  • Collaborate within the larger Babbel product community to drive language learning success.
  • Co-own and execute the roadmap for the Babbel LMS, supporting the company objectives.
  • Actively drive the adoption of AI tools within the LMS space.
  • Untangle the most complex scopes and break those down into milestones, leading delivery and facilitating progress updates.
  • Build strong partnerships with your key functions and with product teams from all parts of the Babbel organization.
  • Be part of one dedicated LMS development team.
  • Continuously improve your team's engagement and ways of working.
  • Support decision-making and increase velocity together with your engineering partner.
  • Discover, manage, and cater to the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Co-design and build Babbel’s next-gen LMS.
  • Provide the tools to ensure our contents.
  • Utilize AI services to improve production speed and content quality.
  • Support making the content adaptable down to the individual user level.
  • Make informed decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Find and/or generate data you need to drive decision-making for the team.

You have:

  • 6+ years experience working as a product manager in cross-functional, agile environments.
  • Shipped successful products globally.
  • A solid technical background and hands-on experience in development.
  • Familiar with AI technologies, their promises and risks.
  • Experience developing platform capabilities, including API design, LLM-powered capabilities, ontologies, AI & ML powered services, and structured data models.
  • Extensive knowledge about and prompt engineering.
  • Partner effectively with customer-facing and revenue-oriented teams and continuously improve your collaboration. 
  • A compelling storyteller who can communicate the most complex matters to anyone.
  • Worked in modern, dynamic cross-functional teams and have successfully applied proven agile methods and data to improve your team's capabilities to deliver customer and business value. 
  • Experience in creating and owning a roadmap, effectively prioritizing stakeholder requests to maximize impact.
  • Carry and update an exciting vision for your team and stakeholders. 
  • A track record of delivering on time and quality against a plan.
  • Familiar with content release management.
  • Experience collaborating across product boundaries to achieve shared goals.
  • Able to work in small iteraterations without ever losing the bigger picture.
  • Working with people of all backgrounds and supporting their success.
