Senior Product Manager - Legal job at Spotify

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Spotify’s Legal & Internal Audit (“IA”) Systems team within the Financial Engineering mission. You will lead and manage a team of system administrators and will be responsible for overseeing our Legal & IA application portfolio, and ensuring our products have continued relevance, innovation, and value.

The Legal & IA Systems team is responsible for driving a variety of initiatives within Spotify’s legal, audit and data privacy landscape. The work-streams include driving strategic projects and implementing business systems to drive growth and efficiency. The Senior Product Manager will work with the legal and audit business teams along with product, engineering and business partners throughout Spotify.

In addition to possessing a strong product and technical background of your own, the ideal candidate will be a natural communicator who is able to work with partners to meet immediate needs while continuing to execute on strategic goals.

What you'll do

Grow and lead a team with different skill levels and domain expertise
Partner with Legal and IA business units, Product, Engineering and Insights leaders to foster a team culture of impact, performance and happiness
Collaborate with other Product Managers to prioritize work and develop an application strategy for legal and internal audit business teams
Continually reassess the application portfolio to ensure it is meeting the needs of the business and provides outstanding service
Work with Technical Procurement teams to evaluate new vendors and be a guide with the technology available in the legal and audit marketplace

Who you are

You’ll have several years of experience implementing tools and technology that drive business value to legal and internal audit partners
You’ll be able to complete system administration tasks as an individual contributor as well as manage, quality control and provide feedback to your team
Experience in leading projects and long term plans and contributing overall SaaS application management strategy
You are experienced with data-driven product development
You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, with experience presenting concepts and ideas in different formats
You have strong communication skills, including the ability to speak tech to a non-tech audience and to translate complex business/legal needs into specifically-defined results
You are comfortable in operating independently and leading a team in a fast-paced work environment
You have experience in collaborating with senior business leaders across multiple time zones
You have inclusive and collaborative working habits
You care about working in a well functioning team
