Product Managers at Seismic drive product vision and are responsible for the success of the product through all phases of the development process. Starting with an initial concept through research, development, production, deployment, and measuring success, Product Managers ensure that we are solving our customers’ most important problems through the capabilities that we develop and release. To be successful in this role you will be required to understand the Sales Enablement space and the Seismic product in great detail, as well as have a deep understanding and empathy for our users’ needs.

At its core, Seismic helps sales and customer-facing teams find what they are looking for so that they are armed with all the content and information that they need to have successful conversations with their buyers. This is an individual contributor role. As the lead for Knowledge at Seismic, you’ll help define the vision, and strategy and drive execution for one of the newest and most exciting products in Seismic’s portfolio.

Seismic Knowledge is a product that aims to own the relationship with our users—the seller and client facing professionals. In a lot of ways, Knowledge is the interface to the Seismic platform providing faster access to the answers, content and training where and when users need it. Knowledge is a horizontally positioned product that integrates with many facets within the Seismic platform including, but not limited to our search and content discovery areas. Not only will you be expected to collaborate with many other teams to drive alignment across different surfaces, intents and use cases, you'll be expected to drive leadership in how users interact with all of our products.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, research, and engineering stakeholders to set the vision for knowledge products at Seismic
  • Continuously push the envelope on how to embed and inject Seismic into the workflows and interfaces that sellers live in to provide them with faster access to the knowledge they need
  • Improve and refine the roadmap for just-in-time enablement to ensure Seismic Knowledge is a first class tool in the Sales Enablement stack of every organization
  • Partner with our AI/ML and search teams to better understand user intent and translate questions into relevant results, continuously learn from user behavior to improve accessibility of knowledge and develop recommendations to reduce context switching for users
  • Partner with other product teams at Seismic to ensure that our unique product offering is well integrated and remains a leader in the knowledge/just-in-time enablement space

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Experience and passion for solving knowledge discovery problems and a deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and tradeoffs involved
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to navigate uncharted territory, tackle new challenges and think outside of the box, while managing a bleeding edge product within our platform
  • Strategic thinker, analytical, detail, and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. Passionate about solving problems for customers and have the ability to define compelling products that address those needs.
  • Motivated self-starter able to translate uncertainty and ambiguity into clear, crisp plans. Ability to develop a strong point of view, and collaborate with humility and diplomacy to drive your vision forward
  • Understand modern SaaS technologies and platforms. You can have credible conversations with engineers about technical design tradeoffs including platforms, frameworks, scalability, and performance.
  • Some understanding of search systems, including relevance & ranking, algorithms, personalization, natural language processing, data models is recommended
  • Proven ability to work across multiple teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and services to ensure a world-class customer experience.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market/competitive analysis into product requirements
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Previous experience working with remote teams and flexibility to work off-hours occasionally
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, ideally at a SaaS organization
