Senior Product Manager, Jira Software

Location: To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the Australia or New Zealand.

The Atlassian Jira Software product team builds the #1 software development tool used by Agile teams which also includes our Open DevOps solution that brings together disconnected information across an open toolchain to give modern software teams everything needs across the entire software development lifecycle. You will push the boundaries of Jira Software into the discovery phase of software development and better support all members of modern software teams. You will need to think about how to deliver a unified experience across our first party tools and those of our third-party partners.

As a Senior Product Manager at Atlassian, reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will lead our mission to unleash the potential in every team! Join our product team to help build our vision of an open toolchain backed by Jira Software that works seamlessly with tools across the entire software development lifecycle. You will need to connect data together across those various tools in order to drive a rich user experience for all members of the software team, not just developers. You will inspire and energise our teams by crafting an exciting product vision as well as sharing customer pains and partner needs. Your work will help millions of users as you define the foundations for how modern software teams connect, collaborate, and accomplish outstanding things. This highly visible role will require you to independently build strategy and roadmap, align multiple teams and communicate succinctly both internally and externally. In this role, you will help leadership in long term planning and organisation development.

You love working hard to identify customer problems and build remarkable solutions for technology teams. You have prior success setting product vision, strategy and launching products or key initiatives that cut across product capabilities. You can lead teams to set clear goals and make priority decisions. You communicate clearly to your team, to leaders, to customers, and to partners. You are adept at forming relationships across crafts, products and functional groups to make sure we stay aligned.
