Atlassian is looking for a Senior Product Manager to guide product improvements across Jira Software's core experiences. You’ll deeply understand the daily journeys of our end-users and identify opportunities for how we improve the way they work in Jira Software, with the goal of increasing our adoption and retention metrics.
You’ll research, identify and assess capabilities to increase not just adoption and retention, but also improve ease of use to satisfy our customers.
You’ll collaborate with an array of teams across Atlassian to make your ideas a reality, and create ongoing and tight feedback loops with our customers to gather and action relevant feedback with your team.
Your future team:
We are a team of designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers and marketers. We are responsible for the customer and business success of Jira Software Cloud. You will report to the Group Product Manager.
Some of the things you will do:
- Work with customers to identity their needs, short, medium, and long term
- Partner with your triad to identify, design and develop improvements to the core Jira Software experience, and understand the impact of the work on our important metrics
- Partner with the leadership squad to create a 12 month horizon goals and roadmap for your team
- Achieve success in improving retention metrics for new and existing users by finding new ways to solve tough customer problems
- Be the 'face' of your team, managing the expectations of stakeholders, communicating progress of your team and celebrating their wins and lessons learned

- You have experience building amazing experiences that customers love
- You fall in love more with the customer's problem than with our engineering solution
- You love talking to customers on a regular basis to unlock problems, the bigger and hairier the problem the better
- You enjoy balancing and prioritizing across customers and the business, and care about the small things as much as the big things
- You have great communication skills, both oral and written
- An openness to mentoring other PMs and a willingness to be involved in the details
- You have exceptional collaboration skills and can influence teams without formal authority
Your background:
- Product management experience in a high-growth product organisation
- Well versed in delivering in an agile environment, with deep understanding of the principles, frameworks and ways of working
- Experience delivering valuable end-user facing features, with success criteria defined in advance and assessed for future iterations
