Jira Platform is part of our Cloud Platform team that enables Atlassian products to create ways to help all teams to come together, collaborate, and control their workflows. The Jira Shared Views (JSV) team is a Jira Platform team and owns several core experiences like Issue Search, Filters, Navigation, and Directories across all Jira Products.
These experiences are an integral part of every Jira product and hence have a huge impact on the end-user experience of all Jira Family products namely Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager in Jira Shared Views, reporting to GPM for Jira Shared Views. Here, you'll drive the product strategy, discovery, and execution for one or more teams within the group.
What you'll do
- Define a compelling vision and strategy for your areas of ownership
- Partner with product leaders in Jira Family products and within Jira Platform
- Bring together customer and developer needs into tight narrative, supported by qualitative and quantitative insights
- Determine the right prioritisation and work with senior leadership to influence company-level prioritisation of your area of work
- Manage delivery and execution of complex technical, multi-year programmes in partnership with your design and engineering counterparts
- Engage with customers internally and externally to increase adoption of Jira Shared Views capabilities
Your background
- Previous experience as a senior product management experience in B2C/ B2B / Enterprise SaaS environment
- Strong track record of building delightful and scalable customer experiences
- Experience delivering multiple streams/programmes spread across several dependent teams, plus if in a multi-geo environment
- Experience balancing strategy and action. You love defining the vision but are also comfortable getting into ground level execution and helping your engineering and design team in daily decision-making
- Strong data orientation. You always back your ideas with data and can process large amounts of data to derive meaningful insights
- Experience building relationships and influencing at all levels across the organisation
- Ability to learn new complex technical topics quickly and contribute to help engineering teams make the right implementation decisions
Ideal, however not required, if you have
- Worked at an enterprise SaaS company
- Experience with platform products
- Experience with marketplace and 3rd party ecosystems
