Senior Product Manager - Integrations | Remotely from The Netherlands or UK
Description
MessageBird is transforming the way businesses communicate with their customers, and at the core of the platform, you will find our channel product offering. We’re one of the fastest-growing software companies in the world and we’re looking to expand our impressive Product Team with an experienced Product Managers-Integrations.
This product management role will focus on managing the product development of integrations to and from the MessageBird platform and third-party applications, as well as manage the relationships between MessageBird and the partners we integrate with.
Responsibilities
Strategy Definition and Alignment
- Roadmap planning: identify integration opportunities, based on customer and market feedback. Capture and prioritise product feature/requirements and build business cases to support MessageBird’s Integration Marketplace
- Align roadmap planning with management and executive stakeholders to ensure these contribute to the broader business goals
- Capture and surface prioritised feedback coming in from the team and from customers
- Market intelligence: summarise external integration marketplace competition at regular intervals to ensure a competitive advantage
- Work with a cross-functional team to define the scope of the integration, and align the scope with product team strategic initiatives
Execution & Operations
- Manage relationships with strategic partners and build out a cadence to surface feedback and to strengthen the bond between MessageBird and the partner
- Relationships: lead a cross-functional team and external relationships to deliver MessageBird integrations that align with the approved roadmap
- Get Shit Done: instil urgency for stakeholders by creating measurable objectives and deadlines
- Report on progress: summarise weekly developments and customer feedback to the appropriate team members and management stakeholders
- Integration knowledge: demo latest iterations to prospective customers, Beta customers and internal teams
- Market: oversee marketing collateral and developer page collateral. Position materials to highlight integration features and use cases, create development pages to enable customer self-service
Growth
- Develop and grow MessageBird external integrations with a key focus on the quantity of new support third-party platforms and the number of active users per integration
- Relationships: grow relationships among teams in channels and software platforms, increasing MessageBird’s visibility with strategic partners
- Educate: train dependent commercial teams (inc. Sales Engineers) on platform merits, use cases and sweet spots
