We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to build our new identity management stack. You’ll be in charge of defining and developing the product strategy and delivery of a new set of products covering authentication and authorization at Back Market. From clients to sellers, going through internal users of our tools ; and for all the continents BackMarket is operating in (Europe + North America + Asia).

Incubated in platform engineering, the products will likely fall into functional scopes (customer/seller) to continue their development. We’re looking for someone comfortable with both bootstrapping and scaling this critical part of our stack.

You’ll be responsible for:

Understanding, anticipating and prioritizing the business and user needs around authentication & authorization, both for clients and sellers.
Defining the vision and execution plan that will provide BackMarket’s Product & Engineering teams the identity management primitives they need to keep growing.
From this vision, focusing first on the definition of an MVP with a clear definition of done and success metrics.
Creating a close duo with the platform engineering managers, working hand in hand to make sure we have reliable and yet ambitious roadmaps, with the expected level of delivery quality.
Coordinating and communicating on the delivery of the project with the different stakeholders: engineering, security, product, design, and legal teams in particular.

You're perfect for this role if:

You have experience in developing products from zero to one, within a rapidly-scaling organization (600+ employees).
You have a solid understanding and interest in tech architecture topics (API, Security & AuthN+Z protocols, microservices architectures, etc).
You have a great product management culture, organization and structure.
You have excellent communication skills (French and English).
