About the Team
We are now seeking a well-versed Senior Product Manager to join the Core Data team to support the team building an Event-Driven Resource Graph that serves as a single source of truth, providing a unified view of the customer's full infrastructure estate. It will leverage an event focused architecture, enabling the publishing, consumption, cataloging, schema management and storing of data for business and product usage.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and key business representatives to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact solutions. You will leverage your expertise in cloud-native platforms, API integrations, and event-driven architectures to enhance developer experiences and drive product adoption. This role will report to David Leeper.
What you’ll do (responsibilities)
- Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for Core Data team for an event-driven Resource Graph as a cloud-native solution aligned with the business objectives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable, highly available integration solutions, leveraging technologies such as Graph databases, Kafka, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams through end-to-end execution, ensuring timely delivery of key features
- Craft the product story by recognizing the landscape, user needs, and HashiCorp principles
- Conduct research to identify pain points, validate product assumptions, and optimize user experiences
- Prioritize the offering roadmap by taking feedback from customers, field teams, and ecosystem partners
- Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to set the context and priority for the product delivery
- Communicate product updates and insights to leadership and engineering
What you’ll need (basic qualifications)
- 8+ years of product management experience with a focus on cloud-native enterprise solutions and a good knowledge of developer tools
- Deep technical understanding, with knowledge of event-driven architectures, API management, and integration platforms
- Partner with multiple engineering and product teams across the organization to align priorities and drive a unified strategy for event-driven integrations
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or other modern messaging technology, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms and enterprise integration tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and drive execution with engineering teams
- Deep knowledge of the enterprise cloud platform infrastructure space and market needs
- High levels of customer consideration and an interest for using data to understand how customers adopt and use products
- Analytical with the ability to prioritize and make tradeoffs
- Proficient communication skills with an emphasis on written communication
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$195,500—$230,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in California (excluding SF Bay Area), New York (excluding NYC), Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, Washington D.C., or Maryland is:
$179,300—$210,900 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro), Illinois, Minnesota, or Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$162,900—$191,700 USD
