Senior Product Manager, Hub Insights

The role

You will be the product manager for Hub Insights. Hub is our partner-facing website that helps restaurants and grocery partners improve & grow their business. In particular, you will lead the strategy and delivery of our data insight products, which help partners understand their current performance, and identify opportunities for growth. 

This role is based in our London office and will report to the Director of Product for Partner Platform. 

What you'll do

• Formulate a vision and strategy for Hub Insights and its role within Partner Platform, in collaboration with the Director of Product
• Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our partners by analysing data, conducting primary research, and sourcing input from internal stakeholders
• Develop a hypothesis for the most impactful work that will address our partners’ needs while also delivering on our internal strategic objectives
• Maintain an outcome-based product roadmap that clearly outlines how you will deliver impact
• Document product requirements in a way that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences, and can be used to drive alignment with other teams within Deliveroo
• Collaborate with your engineering team and other teams (e.g., Analytics Engineering) on detailed technical product requirements and test plans
• Support your engineering team during the development process to clarify and unblock issues
• Collaborate with the go-to-market and commercial teams to agree a launch plan, and develop necessary collateral and messaging
• Closely follow the roll-out and measure the impact of your initiatives by gathering feedback from partners and internal stakeholders, as well as conducting quantitative analysis; use this input to refine your roadmap and identify new ways to drive value

Requirements

• Excellent strategic thinking, with a track record in taking an ambiguous problem space, defining objectives, outlining various options, assessing cost and benefit and driving to a conclusion, sourcing input from others and building consensus
• Strong problem-solving skills, ideally with autonomy with quantitative tools (SQL, Looker) to produce basic product analysis and independently evaluate success of initiatives
• Experience working as a product manager and following agile product development principles; B2B2C experience preferred
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders, build cross-functional alignment and maintain focus throughout execution
• Ability to prioritise ruthlessly, unlock value in an iterative way and with a focus on the fastest route to market
• Clear written and verbal communication, with an ability to synthesise technical topics to a business audience, including to senior stakeholders

Customer-centric thinking, with a track record of deploying the right user research methodologies to generate new and surprising customer insights that change our approach

• Relevant domain expertise such as experience working with data and insight products, or food delivery will be a great advantage
• Demonstrated track record of working in high performing teams that celebrate differences and foster entrepreneurship and innovation
