About us:

We’re here to make money work for everyone and we're doing things differently. For too long, banking has been obtuse, complex and opaque.

We want to change that and build a bank with everyone, for everyone. Our amazing community suggests features, test the app and give us constant feedback so we can build something everyone loves.

We're focused on solving problems, rather than selling financial products. We want to make the world a better place and change people's lives through Monzo.

About our Growth Team:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Growth team to lead messaging in our mission to build one of the best, most innovative banks in the world.

The Growth team's vision for messaging is to provide customers with the right message, at the right time, and in the right place to unlock the Monzo magic. The team will work across in-app channels, email, and push notifications to educate customers about Monzo’s offerings and ultimately enhance the breadth of engagement. They take a holistic approach to messaging, creating tools that empower content creation by teams throughout the company, developing machine learning products to optimise messaging, and crafting new and improved user experiences to deliver content to customers. Additionally, the team builds systems to ensure adherence to customer-focused contact principles and assumes responsibility for long-term outcomes across message types and campaigns. The team is part of Monzo’s Growth Collective and directly contributes to the company’s goals for engagement.

  • Lead planning process and associated roadmap prioritisation ensuring alignment within the team and with wider business goals and objectives. Work with cross-functional partners (engineering, design, data, user research and marketing) to ensure projects are delivered on time and as planned.

You should apply if:

  • You have a passion for the world of customer engagement and find excitement in this landscape. You have prior experience with messaging or other personalised content products (e.g., ads or content feeds).
  • You’ve shipped world-class products at a fast growing company
  • You're comfortable working within a deeply collaborative, highly technical team that spans across engineering, design, data, user research, and marketing.
  • You’re passionate about building value for customers and not just achieving business results
