We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Growth Cluster in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

We're seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team, with a specific focus on driving product-led growth through our mobile platforms. As a key player in our Product team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of language learning by creating impactful mobile experiences that resonate with our users and drive growth.

You will:

  • Focus on the outcome by translating company OKRs into more specific team KPIs and analyzing feature-level metrics to derive targets for next areas of improvement.
  • Lead the development and execution of new growth strategies for mobile that align with the Babbel’s growth goals and user-centric philosophy.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing to define OKRs, focus areas and bets to grow Babbel’s subscriber base on mobile.
  • Drive product experimentation and A/B testing on mobile to optimize for lead generation and average revenue per paying user, while setting users up for a lasting language learning journey with Babbel.
  • Develop and validate bold ideas that contribute to securing Babbel’s future growth.
  • Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement, track key performance indicators, and make informed decisions to continuously improve product performance.
  • Champion a user-centered mindset by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and ensuring that our mobile products cater to the evolving needs of our learners.
  • Collaborate with other teams and functions to maintain a holistic view of the product experience, ensuring we are all going in the right direction.
  • Together with the Engineering Manager, maintain a product backlog to facilitate a constant stream of valuable work for the team; continuously improve the team’s ways of working (agile ceremonies, best practices, team agreement).
  • Communicate decisions and releases to the rest of the company.

You are:

  • A lifelong learner, someone who can unlearn and learn quickly, and wants to create an impact for our learners
  • Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback for continuous improvement
  • Ready to take on responsibilities
  • Motivated to achieve business goals
  • Data informed, and business-oriented
  • Eager to innovate, prototype and learn continuously through rapid testing
  • A compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types

You have:

  • 3+ years experience in working as a Product Manager in a cross-functional team, preferably in a growth team
  • Pragmatic approach and bias to action: you prefer to improve iteratively rather than working on long-term bets
  • Experience with continuous discovery
  • A track record of delivering business value
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

  • Training in product-led growth e.g. Reforge or similar
  • Interest in ed-tech

Some perks of becoming a Babbelonian:

  • Enjoy 30 vacation days and the chance to take a 3-month Sabbatical. Plus family and life situation counseling.
  • Decide how, when and from where you want to work with our flexible working hours and remote friendly options as Jobbatical (up to 3 months inside the EU) or work from our fully equipped office with nap, faith and family rooms.
  • Learn and grow with the internal learning opportunities, and use a yearly learning & development budget for external training. Learn languages with Babbel for free with your full access to Babbel & Babbel Live classes.
  • Take advantage of your mobility benefits options and a discounted Urban Sports Club membership.
  • Be part of our employee communities (such as Femgineers, DE&I Ambassadors and LGBTQIA groups), attend cultural and regular social events.
