About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our FX Product team, based in our London office. The FX team leads the cross border enablement of CKO payment products, ensuring consistency, sustainability and profitability. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of internal products for our treasury and finance teams to manage FX risk, as well as external products that enable our merchants to manage their businesses globally.

You'll play a critical role in defining solutions for evolving internal and external FX solutions as we look to expand the offering to meet the ever growing needs of our merchants. In this role you'll regularly collaborate with other internal stakeholders and other product teams as well as an array of cross functional stakeholders, acting as champion for FX across CKO. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ownership of products across their entire lifecycle
  • Maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Director
  • Provide ongoing support to your Product and Engineering team
  • Produce business and functional product requirements as well as input into technical requirements
  • Work closely with Treasury and Finance on maximising FX efficiencies across the business
  • Work with other Checkout.com teams to define FX use cases whilst ensuring we're planning and delivering together for each other’s products
  • Highlight, report, and handle delivery risks and issues
  • Find and document in detail product solutions to sophisticated intersystem dependencies

About You

  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • Experience with API-driven products
  • Have delivered tools or internal products that optimise or scale financial operations environment (Trading, Pricing, Risk management, etc. )
  • Proven track record in building products where there’s high degree of ambiguity on what to build in order to drive growth or mitigate risk
  • Great teammate: we're an impactful team that thrive on teamwork
  • Ability to build bridges across the organisation with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Experience with leading discovery and writing/maintaining business and functional product requirements.
  • Self-started, demonstrated ability to drive outcomes and results.
  • Strong Payments or Fintech experience, or domain expertise in FX, Liquidity or Safeguarding is a plus
  • Nice to have - You are comfortable with getting your own data using SQL Python etc. and build dashboards using BI tools like Looker or Tableau etc.
