Senior Product Manager, Fulfillment

As a Senior Product Manager, you will deliver business impact by collaborating with your team to identify and address the most impactful customer problems and improving on existing ones in close collaboration with cross-functional product partners in engineering, product design, research, analytics, marketing and product management.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Product. This person will be located in Mexico City, or we are also considering remote candidates based in Mexico for this position. Etsy offers three different work modes to meet the variety of needs and preferences of our team: Flex mode for candidates who are comfortable traveling to an office location at least 4-6 days per month, Remote mode, and Office-based mode. Day to day this looks like:

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop and deliver products that are scalable and reliable. Lead agile ceremonies, including planning and grooming.
• Own and define/refine the metrics of the team’s products, including impact to the business and our customers
• Collaborate with leaders across our other functions (including engineering, marketing, insights/analytics, and design) to realize the full scale of Fulfillment capabilities at Etsy
• Example projects may include: improving global tracking experiences for buyers and improving our post-order returns label experience for buyers/sellers.

Senior level at Etsy means:

• Autonomously driving impact within a problem space
• Developing a portfolio of projects that balances achieving near-term impact on high confidence hypotheses with mid-term learnings on lower confidence hypotheses
• Iterating on metrics, hypotheses and solutions
• Leveraging the expertise of key functional partners (e.g. Engineering, Design, Legal, Research, Analytics, Finance) and adjacent squads to fully understand the opportunities, potential solutions, and constraints
• Rallying your team in the face of significant challenges and lead through change

Qualifications

About You:

• 4+ years combined product management and relevant experience to Fulfillment; 2-Sided Marketplace experience a big plus
• Previous experience working with Designers, Research, and Analytics to further define our sellers needs, and continue to identify improvement opportunities
• Successful track record solving sophisticated consumer-facing and logistics problems, developing strategies and roadmaps, and carrying out those plans to bring value for our business and customers.
• Experienced with using qualitative and quantitative data (especially from synthesizing data into clear needs and hypotheses) to make product decisions
• Inspiring, engaging and clear communication style; optimistic and forward-looking
• A passionate member of the Etsy community and someone who believes in Etsy’s vision, mission and values
