About the role
In this role you will work closely with our visionary finance team, as well as clients and other product teams, to solve for Deel’s complex financial needs.This could be everything from ensuring we are providing Deel with highly automated and granular financial reporting (ledger, ERP integration) to controlling our credit risk with client-facing and internal product features.

You’d be especially well-suited for this role if you have a background in financial or accounting product, though this isn’t mandatory. More important is your ability to learn tough things rapidly on the fly through shipping new product. 

What you will do:

• Own and influence the product strategy and roadmap

• Deeply analyse customers and business problems to identify the pain points

• Rapidly create impactful and elegant solutions to specific problems

• Strategically think of the product from high level to connect the missing dots

• Take full cycle ownership of your work from ideation, design, review and feedback in the final test build and after release

• Work closely with highly talented Product Designers and team of Engineers as well as Finance leadership

• Above all - Be part of the journey to redefine a way of working for people all round the world

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of product management experience in a fast pace environment (ideally scaleup/start-up)

• Experience working on a finance related product

• Highly proactive and effective communicator - you enjoy and are able to work with a diverse group of people from non-technical stakeholders to engineers

• Thrives in very complex, fast-moving and ambiguous environments with little need for specific direction
