Tilda Research, based in San Francisco, is an innovator in clinical research recruitment & execution. We build software and supporting clinical trial infrastructure to help pharmaceutical companies identify, enroll and execute clinical trials efficiently. We operate a growing network of clinical research sites in the US, and our team has worked on over 250 pan-indication Phase I thru IV studies. Our founders are successful serial entrepreneurs, with three of their past companies leading to IPOs (VMware, MobileIron) or exits (LexentBio acquired by Roche).
As an external facing product manager, you will work closely with customers and thought leaders in biopharma / CROs to explain our product value proposition, roadmap and vision. You will study existing tools available in the market, gather pain points and unmet customer needs and help refine our product strategy and roadmap around decentralized or hybrid clinical trial execution. Your responsibilities will include studying existing and upcoming opportunities in clinical trial innovation, frequently communicating with the customer to understand their needs, and helping us refine and build a compelling product roadmap. You will be working cross-functionally with our engineering, design, clinical operations, and data science teams to ship great products which delight our consumers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience managing clinical trial related product development or implementation from inception through launch and iteration. You have worked in a role focused on innovation in biopharma or CROs.
- Excellent understanding of the current state and future needs of clinical trial platforms
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills to help present Tilda product roadmap to customers
- You balance intuition and data-driven approaches in your product research and strategy process
- Product and design intuition: You have a high design bar and well-honed product judgement.
- Customer empathy: You can easily identify user pains, and prioritize them. You always put the customer first.
- Strategic thinker: You are not afraid to think big and deliver on bold ideas.
- Structured decision-making and communication: You take on complex product challenges, simplify them, and communicate them to your stakeholders.
- Domestic travel, 10-20% as needed
